Mariah is my all-time favorite diva.
She has been since Vision of Love.
One thing I admire about Mariah is that she loves
her remixes and she respects the remixer.
Most of her singles have been reinvented
into hip hop and house tracks.
Often times she'll re-sing the vocals to fit the track,
instead of the other way around.
This is generally unheard of and
Mariah is the only pop star who does it.
It's no secret that her favorite DJ/Producer is David Morales.
Their story starts with his iconic mix of
Dreamlover and continues today.
I've been wanting to put this collection together for years
but never quite knew how to approach it.
I love so many of her remixes.
Most of my favorites are lesser known songs and dubs,
but I couldn't ignore the colossal hits
that made her a club goddess.
I think I've finally created an explosive set that
showcases the best of both worlds.
So it is with great pleasure that I present to you,
a collection of my obsession.
